Villa Bucci’s Rosso Piceno Tenuta Pongelli 2022 is an organic red wine made from a balanced blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese, grown in the hillside vineyards of the Castelli di Jesi, in the Marche region. In the glass it has a brilliant ruby red hue, while on the nose there are intense aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry, plum and light spicy hints. In the mouth it is harmonious, medium-bodied, with soft tannins and a good acidity that gives good acidity and pleasantness to the sip. Aging in wood softens the tannins without overpowering the good acidity of the fruit, making it ideal with white meats, pasta dishes with sauce and typical Marche cured meats.
