Bruno Clair, Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 2019, Bottle 750 ml
The Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 2019 by Bruno Clair is a red wine of excellence, made in the illustrious Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru area, which extends between Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, in the Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy. Produced exclusively from Pinot Noir, harvested from historic vineyards planted in 1946, 1962, 1978 and 1980, cultivated on clayey-limestone soils with a calcareous subsoil rich in marine fossils, this wine embodies the refinement of the Burgundian terroir. During vinification, 30 to 50% of whole bunches are used, with maceration lasting 10 to 15 days in wooden vats. Maturation takes place for a period of between 18 and 20 months in oak barrels, of which about 45% are new. Intense aromas of black fruit and spices are perceived on the nose; The sip is vigorous, complex and persistent, with perfectly harmonized tannins and a savory finish. This wine is ideal for a long aging in the cellar, with an evolutionary capacity of at least 10 years.
