Muffato della Sala 2013, obtained from Castello della Sala – Antinori, is a sweet wine obtained from a blend of white grapes affected by noble rot (Botrytis Cinerea). With an intense golden yellow hue, it has a complex aromatic profile characterized by floral and honey hints, accompanied by fresh citrus and mineral sensations. In the mouth it is balanced, with a good balance between sweetness and acidity, which makes it suitable for evolution over time thanks to the structure and finesse of the Umbrian terroir in which it is born. The 2013 vintage gives the wine a harmonious character and good persistence, ideal to accompany blue cheeses and desserts based on dried fruit.
