Chavy-Chouet’s Volnay Sous la Chapelle 2021 is a Pinot Noir that comes from the encounter between clay and limestone. The vinification, which begins in steel and then moves on to an aging of about a year in oak barrels, enhances the characteristics of the vine. It is dressed in a bright ruby red and releases aromas of violets, red fruits and sweet spices. On the palate it confirms the vocation of Volnay: elegant, with a silky tannic texture and a harmonious and relaxed finish.
