This Champagne from Egly-Ouriet is a masterpiece from Ambonnay. 1946 Pinot Noir from the lieu-dit “Les Crayères”, vinified entirely in wood. Deep gold in the glass, it smells of red fruit in jelly and chalk. Mineral and fresh, it envelops the palate with an extraordinary linear persistence.
