75 lt Standard bottle
Louis LatourYear 2019Type Bianco
Louis Latour’s Montrachet Grand Cru 2019 is a white wine of extraordinary elegance, an expression of one of the most famous crus of Burgundy. Golden and bright hue, the nose reveals intense floral scents accompanied by hints of brioche and exotic nuances. The palate is refined and powerful, with a satin texture that contains aromas of exotic fruit, peach and citrus, supported by good mineral acidity and a complexity that evolves with time. The finish is long, with good persistence, rich in finesse and delicacy. This wine, obtained from one of the most prestigious maisons in Burgundy, reflects the typicality of the 2019 vintage, with a balance between good acidity and structure that makes it an excellent candidate for aging in the cellar. Ideal to accompany fish dishes, shellfish and aged cheeses.

Louis Latour

Maison Louis Latour was founded in 1797 and is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Burgundy, custodian of over two centuries of tradition and excellence. The heart of the winery is Château Corton Grancey, a historic estate located in Aloxe-Corton, from which some of the house’s most famous wines come. The owned vineyard covers over 50 hectares, an exceptional extension for a Burgundian maison, with parcels in prestigious Grand Crus such as Corton-Charlemagne, Romanée-Saint-Vivant and Chambertin. The clayey-calcareous soils and the continental climate offer perfect conditions for the development of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which in Louis Latour’s wines are expressed with purity, structure and extraordinary aging capacity.
