Lunae, Vermentino Colli di Luni Black Label 2023, Bottle 750 ml

Vermentino “Etichetta Nera” 2023 is a white wine obtained from the Lunae Winery, located between Castelnuovo Magra and Ortonovo, in the DOC Colli di Luni, on the border between Liguria and Tuscany. Obtained from pure Vermentino grapes, selected by hand in the early hours of the morning to preserve their good acidity, this wine best expresses the characteristics of the grape variety and the territory. After a short cold maceration on the skins for about 8 hours, the must ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on the fine lees for about 4 months, giving complexity and structure. On the nose, it opens with elegant hints of wild flowers, aromatic herbs, sweet spices, ripe fruit and honey. In the mouth, it is rightly savory, harmonious and with good persistence, with a good vibrant acidity that balances the roundness of the body. The finish is long and with a good persistence, characterized by a pleasant almond note and a return of ripe fruit. This Vermentino goes perfectly with Ligurian dishes, such as stockfish, stewed tripe, poultry, soups and fish.
